I am so excited to share my Spotify playlist with you for Wheel of the Year: The Age of Stone! Music is such a huge piece of my writing process. When I look back on the most important pieces I've written: essays, plays, poems, there is always an associated song that inspired me and pushed me forward in my writing. I listen to music with lyrics when I study or write. There is something about the dual input that really smooths out the wrinkles in my brain and helps me to focus. If you know my dad, this makes sense. He is usually listening to music or a radio show while watching a movie or sports event. Talk about multi-tasking!

Below I have the breakdown of which song goes with which chapter in case your Spotify list gets scrambled. I did curate it in order on the playlist though! The majority of these artists are Irish or Scottish, which was important for me to share with my readers, but also truly what I listened to in order to travel there in my mind. I hope you discover some new favorite music as you listen, and I hope you have the opportunity to imagine how each song inspired each chapter. Some are really obvious and actually appear in the chapter! Others are more subtle. Here is the link to the Spotify Playlist!
